Stockholm, July lst, 1938. Mrs. G.W. Armitage, 3, Didsbury Park, Didsbury, Manchester. Dear Vre, Armitage, My secretary has submitted your letter of 23.6.1938 to me. Please let me inform you in the first place, that Dr. Sirén has nothing whatever to do with our museum, and is therefore in no position to grant any "permission" to publish any of our objects. But I am perfectly willing to grant you the said permission. The specimen in question is very large and fastened on to the wall on which it hangs; I do not wish, therefore, to unloosen it in order to photograph it from behind, The photo we sen& you, and which we send you once more, is very clear and good, and bears any enlargement you wish. You can have an enlarge- ment made in England just as well as we could do it here, Yours truly Professor
